EEETHOS joins the 2Cool2Waste Cluster
The EEETHOS project is proud to announce that it has joined 2Cool2Waste, a new collaborative cluster bringing together Horizon Europe projects working on innovative heating and cooling solutions. This initiative creates a platform for closer cooperation, knowledge exchange, and joint activities aimed at accelerating the decarbonisation of industrial energy systems across Europe.
2Cool2Waste unites EU-funded projects that share a common mission: advancing sustainable, efficient, and circular approaches to heating and cooling. The cluster focuses particularly on industrial waste heat recovery, electrification, and thermal energy management, areas where coordinated efforts can significantly amplify real-world impact.
As part of this collaboration, the sister projects within 2Cool2Waste will work together to:
- Organise joint events and thematic workshops
- Produce shared policy briefings and newsletters
- Exchange best practices, technical insights, and lessons learned
- Highlight practical, proven solutions to improve energy efficiency in industry
By joining the cluster, EEETHOS will contribute its expertise in high-temperature heat pumps, waste heat recovery and electrification technologies demonstrated across five industrial sites. This collaboration will help ensure that the project’s results reach a wider audience, support policymaking, and foster synergies with other leading initiatives in industrial decarbonisation.
Together, the 2Cool2Waste cluster members will showcase real business cases and practical pathways for transforming Europe’s industrial heating and cooling systems, making them cleaner, smarter, and more energy efficient.
